Jacob Caputo, Executive Chef, Owner
Jake Caputo, Executive Chef, has an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts from California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. After working in technology sales for seven years, Jake made a career change and attended culinary school. Jake is currently charged with running the day-to-day kitchen operations, menu creation and development, and all aspects of food costing and kitchen management. His executed vision of defining the highest standards in food quality is just one reason for the success of Cosmopolitan Catering. |

Joseph Schumaker, Director of Business Development, Owner
After working in retail management for over ten years, Joseph made a career change and received an education in Culinary Arts. Before Cosmopolitan Catering was created Joe was involved in setting up and managing numerous cafeterias including facilities for Mentor Graphics, Affymetrix, Business Objects and several others. In 2006 he and the founding partners of Cosmopolitan Catering facilitated the construction of their kitchen in Sunnyvale and have since opened four additional corporate cafes. Joe has been the driving force behind Cosmopolitan Catering's Café business, handling all aspects of the development from construction to opening and sales to contract agreement. |

Rick Angelini, Director of Sales
Rick Angelini came to Cosmopolitan Catering with over a decade of experience in business management and in the sales and marketing arena, working with many high-profile clients both domestically and internationally. Rick is responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to help Cosmopolitan Catering acquire new corporate clientele. His sales responsibilities include sales cycle development and execution, planning, and the continual development and improvement of the sales team. Rick's focus is on overall company growth and market penetration within the corporate realm. |

Ted Pierce, Director of Café Operations
Ted Pierce came to Cosmopolitan Catering with over eight years of experience in route operations and customer service, executing numerous demands while improving customer satisfaction. Ted's responsibilities are vital as the demand for food safety and health awareness have become more of a social topic. His attention to detail and health code knowledge are just a few strengths that will ensure Cosmopolitan Catering to be the leader in corporate cafes. Ted's emphasis is to coach and develop our café staff, ensuring you a great experience. |

Humberto Vasquez, Executive Sous Chef
Humberto Vasquez joined Cosmopolitan Catering in 2007 with over 11 years of restaurant and catering kitchen experience. Being the liaison between the office and the kitchen, as well as creating the translation from vision to execution of all food items, Humberto orchestrates the daily cooking in our main kitchen in Sunnyvale. He has the pallet and management abilities equal to any task that our fast paced and ever evolving menu demands. |
